Small, thin, bifurcated points

Blade edges generally straight, although some may be concave or convex; typically serrated

Blades frequently resharpened, sometimes in the extreme on "exhausted" points (resharpened/used to the point of being non-functional)

Stem straight to slightly flared; frequently nearly as wide as the blade

Stem deeply bifurcated

Grinding of stem edges absent

Size: ¾ to 1½ inches long

Early Archaic: ca. 6500-5800 BC
