Type also called MacCorkle Stemmed

Relatively large specimens with triangular blades and flattened cross-section

Blade edges generally straight; sometimes serrated on resharpened specimens

Basal ears large and rounded, and exhibit many fine flake scars

Bifurcation formed by thinning base from one side

Heavy grinding on basal edge

Size: 1½ to 2½ inches long

Early Archaic: ca 7000-6500 BC
