Brief description:
Create a custom button using a physical or digital template.
How-to for this program:
Materials Needed (Quantity 50)
- Blank button templates (printed)
- Gel pens
Supplies Needed by Patrons (If Not Provided)
- Scissors
- Pencils, pens, colored pencils, markers, etc.
Technology Needed
- A button maker and button-making supplies
Time Required
- 1-2 hours to assemble the bags
- A few minutes to create each pin-back button over the following month (or set period of time)
Tips/Tricks
- As another submission option, patrons could scan and/or send a digital version via email. They could stop by later to pick up their finished button.
- Included is a short tutorial on Photopea if patrons wanted to create their design digitally. Host a copy of the digital template on a Google Drive, Dropbox, or other account so it is accessible online.
- The template provided is compatible with American Button Maker machines for 1" buttons.
