Brief description:
Not only were children given simple instructions on making sidewalk chalk, they observed the effect of acid on calcium carbonate and were introduced to the concept of acid rain.
How-to for this program:
Materials needed: eggshells, a hard-boiled egg, vinegar, 1 tsp of flour, small rocks.
Technology needed: Facebook Live or Premiere or some other platform.
Time for planning: 1 hour to collect items. 1 hour to prepare experiments and overnight to allow experiments to work. Time to familiarize self with content.
Time for presentation: 20 minutes.
