Brief description:
Virtual Hangout using Zoom, Google Meet, etc... Hang out and play game online together.

How-to for this program:

Teen Thursday Virtual Edition - We meet via Zoom, Google Meet, etc... and I screen share the game. All players need to see the screen and they also need a digital device, such as a phone, tablet, laptop, etc... to play. We use JackBox games, thanks to Putnam County Library for letting me use their idea for this! The JackBox Party Pack 3 is what we use and it was $24.99 online to purchase.

I use the STEAM gaming Platform and screen share. the teens log in to Jackbox.TV and enter the game room code to play. This is similar to Kahoot. Then we hang out and play games from the party pack and chat. No prizes are required. I do curbside Grab and Go Snack Bags, snacks that I had purchased before the Stay At Home order. This way I use up the snacks before they expire and the teens have snacks to eat while playing games. So it's kind of like a game night!
