Brief description:
The Weird History of Defiance Google Map showcases ten fun or ghoulish stories from around Defiance County. The idea is to get people out into our community and experience our history.
How-to for this program:
Using local history resources and Newspaper Archive, we combed for weird historical facts that we could then plug into a Your Places map in Google Maps. You can add photos to each stop on the map to help make it interactive.
If you already have the information, inputting the places and details into your map takes a few hours. Otherwise, it can take a little time to research.
