Brief description:
A virtual book club for all those who love reading and want to discuss Young Adult books.
How-to for this program:
I made a public Facebook group and shared it with my friends in hopes that they would enjoy it, and possibly inform their tweens and teens about the program. We do a monthly book poll to choose the book for the next month. People are encouraged to add their submissions.
I do a Facebook Live video of myself reading the synopses of the books on the poll for the next month, and I also share memes, articles, and YouTube videos about the authors and literature in general.
Everyone is encouraged to participate, and on the 30th of the month, we have a Zoom meeting to discuss the book we read. I just create an event and make sure the link is in the event description. I try to be consistent to ensure people know what to expect.
