Knowing what your users are doing online is pretty important.  You can use the info to know where to focus your marketing efforts.  For example, if most of your users prefer watching videos to looking at pictures, focus more on creating YouTube posts and upload less to Flickr.  Find out what people are talking about on Twitter to promote your collection.
