Remember what a novelty Pokemon Go was in 2016? It introduced the world to augmented reality as a working concept. AR (augmented reality) is the overlaying of digital imagery on top of a view of the real world, most often using one’s cell phone. AR has come a long way since the early days of catching Pikachu, and it’s expanding in some major ways. After all, even dogs can use AR now.
