You can help the library buy more new materials by making a monetary donation to Portage County District Library. There have been significant changes to Ohio's library funding over the last few years, and we are seeking donations due to reductions in the materials budget. Donations made as a memoriam, to celebrate an event or in recognition of a loved one can be made as well.
You may choose to dedicate a book, music, downloadable audiobook or eBook, book on CD, or DVD on a particular topic, or allow the library staff to select a subject. Your contribution helps enhance the collection and publicly honors your loved ones.

As with all donations to Portage County District Library, your contribution is tax deductible. Receipts are available upon request.
In addition to monetary support, you can join your branch library's Friends of the Library. Portage County District Library has the good fortune of partnering with active Friends of the Library groups within several of our service communities, as they:
•Provide additional financial support when it is needed to produce library story times and other library programs.
•Raise funds to provide programs and other extra materials outside the library's normal budget.
•Advocate for the library and assist in the promotion of the library within the community.
